Homemade: instead of wagering on dubious
products, make your natural and effective scrub with simple ingredients.
Scrubs or peels have only one goal: to
help you get a new look! Nothing like this to eliminate dead cells, stimulate
the growth of new cells, help the skin to regain its radiance. Performed
regularly, they refine and purify the skin, while brightening the complexion.
Also think of them to prepare the skin to receive a mask or other care (2).
An exfoliant, yes, but rather a natural
scrub
There is a huge variety, and all types of
skin can find their happiness. Let's start with some basics, with this first
suggestion for a scrub, easy to do all year.
Simple homemade face scrub
Apply a teaspoon of sea salt to the moist
skin of your face.
Massage lightly, with wet fingertips.
Leave on for 10 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
Sea salt promotes the elimination of
anything that could clog the pores of the skin, including excess sebum, while
preventing small infections.
If your skin requires more softness ...
Dry skin scrub
Mix 2 tablespoons coarsely ground sugar
and 3 tablespoons warm water.
Apply this preparation on the face, then
gently massage while emphasizing the forehead, the nose and the chin, but
carefully avoiding the turn of the eyes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then
apply a mask or a moisturizing oil: apricot kernel or jojoba for example are
indicated.
Just as simple a treat, especially during
periods of frost ...
Face scrub for winter
If you have thick, even grainy honey at
home ... enjoy!
Apply a little on the face and, with the
fingertips, make small circular motions by emphasizing the area of the
"T", forehead, wings of the nose and chin, avoiding absolutely the
turn of the eyes.
Then rinse thoroughly and apply a floral
lotion.
As for dry and sensitive skin, despite
their fragility, they also need regular care to remove dead skin cells. Only
one condition: the greatest gentleness is de rigueur!
Another good formula to erase while moisturizing the skin?
Mix coffee grounds with olive oil, known
for its nourishing properties!
Flax seeds, too, are particularly suitable
for this care in express version:
Scrub and moisturizing 2 in 1
Crush a tablespoon of flaxseed.
Mix them with a tablespoon of your usual
cleansing milk.
Apply this preparation to your face and
neck, previously cleaned and moistened.
Massage gently, making small circles, for
a few minutes.
Then rinse generously.
Warning: if you tend to have acne, avoid
this form of exfoliation, because circular massage movements stimulate the
sebaceous glands, which would spread more sebum. Which is not the goal at all ...
